Ken founded the original Marketeers along with long time friend and mentor, Island Realtor, Jack Slagle. Both former pilots in the U.S. Air Force, their partnership soared to new heights. Ken has been a resident of Sanibel Island since 1979, and he has been actively involved in Island real estate since 1981.

Ken is known for his great sense of humor and his ability to make all of his customers feel like family. He is also a former Island business owner (Arnold’s Seahorse Shop), and in his spare time enjoys, boating and hunting. In addition to being a Realtor, Ken is also a builder/developer, a combination that offers the customer a “one-stop-shopping” approach to achieving their real estate dream. From finding the perfect lot to delivering the finished product — a custom built home, Ken can do it all. In his words, “If we can’t find you the house of your dreams, we’ll build it for you. If you do find one that fits many of your needs but would like to update it, we can remodel it to be exactly what you want!”
